Rewards
The card uses an adaptive rewards structure based on spending habits:
- 3% cash back on the top eligible spend category each month
- 2% cash back on the second highest spend category
- 1% cash back on all other eligible purchases
Eligible categories include travel, dining, groceries, entertainment, bills & utilities, gas, transportation, and health & beauty. The categories are automatically tracked, so users never need to manually select or activate them.
Cash Back to Crypto
Users can enable the automatic crypto purchase feature in the Venmo app to convert their monthly cash back into cryptocurrency without paying a crypto transaction fee. Supported cryptocurrencies include Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Solana, Chainlink, and PayPal USD. The crypto is held in the user’s Venmo Digital account.

Important Considerations

Cryptocurrency held in Venmo Digital is not FDIC insured and is subject to market volatility. The card’s crypto feature is provided by PayPal Digital, Inc. (Venmo Digital), and buying or selling crypto includes a spread that Venmo earns on each transaction.
